As expected the month of launches started with the launch of Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen), Moto X (2nd Gen) and Moto 360. Motorola’s comeback in the smartphone industry has been one of the most successful comeback. And one of the major part in its success was Moto G being the most affordable and well build smartphone of the era. Now Motorola was not in the mood of stopping so they learned from Moto G and came with a slightly better phone removing all the cons of the predecessor and adding the required pros.
Flipkart has proved to be an excellent option for Motorola making their sales and after sales service faster and easier. This model of online retailing has proved to be a successful idea for others like Xiaomi also. Flipkart will still be the exclusive dealer of Motorola phones in India.
Now here is how I feel about the Moto G (2nd Generation):
I have used Moto G (First Generation) for a couple of months and I love the way it’s designed. Moto G (2nd Generation) is more or less designed similar to Moto G (First Generation). The only difference Motorola made in Moto G (2nd Generation) was adding the speakers to the front. And which makes it look somewhat similar to Moto E. Motorola Managed to keep the hands-on experience still the same even with the 5-inch phone.
And the ability to switch to tons of funky colored cases makes Moto G (2nd Generation) a must buy for those who love to customize their phone.

The 5” inch 720p HD display is one of the key-point of the new Moto G. The phone measures 141.5×70.7×10.99mm compared to Moto G(First Generation) which was 129.9×65.9×11.6mm. New Moto G is 6 grams heavier than the old one and that was quite obvious with the increase in the screen size.
The back of the new Moto G is now consisting only of a camera and flash. As Motorola planned to add Stereo speakers like Moto E. Many users will love that because now while playing games their finger won’t hinder the sound from speakers.
Moto G (2nd Generation) or Moto G2 comes with an improved 8MP rear camera over the traditional 5MP. The front also has been improved from 1.3MP to 2MP. Which selfie lovers would definitely appreciate.
Camera comes with a led flash and auto focus too. Can record videos upto 720p.
Moto G (2nd Generation) comes with the 16GB internal storage and a microSD slot which helps you expand the storage to 48GB(16+32).
Moto G (2nd Generation) comes with the same 1GB of RAM which is enough as far as my experience with the Moto G(First Generation).
